Two members of the 2007 Wayne State volleyball team were named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic team.

Redshirt senior Gina Zielonka (Sterling Hts.,Mich.) received her second selection in as many years at WSU, while sophomore Meg Leone (Troy, Mich.) was eligible for the honor for the first time this season.

To be eligible for GLIAC All-Academic status a student athlete must have: a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or greater (on a 4.0 scale); must be a starter or key reserve; and must not be a freshman or first-year transfer.
