Women's Hockey Wins Sixth Straight, Sweeps Syracuse

With its best record in school history through the first 12 games, the Wayne State women's hockey team (9-2-1, 2-0-0 CHA) won its sixth in a row, a 5-2 result over visiting Syracuse (3-10-0, 0-6-0 CHA) on Saturday afternoon at the City Sports Center. (more)

Warriors Defeat Orange, 5-3, In CHA Opener

In its first College Hockey America contest of the season, the Wayne State women's hockey team (8-2-1, 1-0-0 CHA) held off a late Syracuse rally to preserve a 5-3 victory over the Orange (3-9-0, 0-5-0 CHA) on Friday night at the City Sports Center. (more)

Women's Hockey Welcomes Syracuse This Weekend

The Wayne State University women's hockey team (7-2-1, 0-0-0 CHA) plays its first College Hockey America series of the season this weekend when the Warriors host the first-year Syracuse Orange (3-8-0, 0-4-0 CHA) at the City Sports Center in Detroit. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. (more)
