Wayne State University head coach Jim Fetter has been selected as one of the seven finalists for the AHCA (American Hockey Coaches Association) Division I Women's Ice Hockey Coach of the Year Award for the third consecutive season.
The award will be presented at the AHCA Coach of the Year Banquet on Saturday, April 26, in Naples, Fla. Among the finalists are three former winners, including 2006 and 2007 Coach of the Year Mark Johnson of Wisconsin.
To be a finalist for this award, you must either be voted Coach of the Year in your conference, or take your team to the NCAA Frozen Four.

Fetter has won the College Hockey America (CHA) Coach of the Year award the last three seasons and led his squad to a school-record 22 wins this past year and the first national top 10 ranking in school history (10th in USA Today/USA Hockey women's poll).
