Evanston, Ill. - The Wayne State University women's fencing team lost all six of its dual meets on Sunday at the Northwestern Duals.
The Warriors lost to Ohio State (23-4), Duke (17-10), Stanford (22-5), UC-San Diego (17-10), Temple (20-7) and North Carolina (20-7).
In the women's epee, Justyna Konczalska compiled a 23-7 record in the two days. Emanuela Bercea won 11 matches, while Sam Barc recorded two victories.
Karolina Budna recorded a 26-4 mark in the sabre, while Ann Bartoszewicz had a 20-10 record. Anna Kotov won nine bouts.
In the women's foil, Samantha Strassburg won five bouts, while Rachel Broderick had two victories.
WSU will participate in the Notre Dame Dual meets this Saturday and Sunday.
