Women's Basketball Adds Fifth Recruit For 2009-10

Wayne State University head women's basketball coach Gloria Bradley has announced the signing of Paige Sickmiller (Washington, Mich./Romeo) to a National Letter of Intent. This signing brings the Warrior recruiting class for 2009-10 to five as four previous signees were announced on Nov. 13. (more)

Women's Basketball Falls At #1-Ranked NKU, 75-51

The Wayne State University women's basketball team (0-1 overall) had a daunting task in its regular-season opener -- playing at defending national champion Northern Kentucky (1-0) Thursday evening. NKU took control early and went on to defeat the Warriors 75-51. (more)

Women's Basketball Travels To NKU To Start Season

Wayne State opens its 2008-09 season at defending national champion Northern Kentucky this Thursday. The Warriors hope to improve on a strong finish last season and an appearance in the GLIAC semifinals for the first time since 2003. (more)
