DETROIT - Two Wayne State divers, senior Erika Barczak (Williamston, Mich.) and sophomore Cayce Bolt (Sterling Hts., Mich./Warren Mott), were named the GLIAC Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week for their respective performances last Friday at an invitational meet hosted by Calvin College.

Barczak, the defending GLIAC diving champion, qualified for the NCAA Championships for the fourth time in her career. She won both the one-meter and three-meter events on Friday, posting respective scores of 253.27 and 260.55 to eclipse the NCAA qualifying standards.

Bolt won both the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions on the men's side with respective scores of 282.45 and 258.00. He surpassed the NCAA qualifying standard in the one-meter event and will head to nationals in March.

Wayne State faces GLIAC competition this Saturday, Nov. 17, in a dual meet at Lewis beginning at 11:00 a.m.
