DETROIT - Wayne State University head golf coach Mike Horn has announced that redshirt junior Joe Juszczyk (Dearborn Heights, Mich./Divine Child) and sophomore Eric Johnson (Marquette, Mich.) will serve as co-captains for the upcoming 2008-09 season.

Juszczyk earned PING/GCAA All-America Honorable Mention and All-GLIAC Honorable Mention accolades last season. He competed in all 14 team events and posted a team-low 73.82 average, the second-lowest recorded average in school history. He became the first NCAA Super Regional medalist in school history and went on to compete at the NCAA Championship, the first WSU golfer to do so since Horn in 1986.

Johnson played in all 14 events last year as well, averaging 76.30 in his rookie campaign. He finished in the top 25 in eight tournaments, including a tied-for-14th performance at the NCAA Super Regional.
